How to request account deletion

If you have created a NOVELO app account and would like to delete it, please contact us using the details below:

Please include the following information so we can identify your account:

Full name
Email address used for your NOVELO account
Phone number used for your NOVELO account

We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

Processing time

We aim to respond to account deletion requests within a reasonable time. In most cases, we will review and process your request within 30 days after verifying your identity and confirming the relevant account details.

What will be deleted

After we verify your request, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your NOVELO app account where reasonably possible.

This may include:

account login details;
contact details;
app profile information;
uploaded app documents or files where no longer required;
app-related customer notes where no longer required.

Information we may need to keep

Some information may need to be retained where required for legitimate business, legal, tax, accounting, payment, fraud prevention, rental dispute, safety, vehicle recovery or regulatory purposes.

This may include:

rental agreements;
invoices, receipts, refunds and credit notes;
payment and transaction records;
records needed for tax or accounting;
records related to unpaid amounts, disputes, damage, theft, fraud prevention or vehicle recovery;
records required to comply with legal obligations.

Where we need to retain certain information, we will limit its use to the required purpose and retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary.
