This User Agreement explains the rules for using the NOVELO mobile app and related online services. By creating an account, making a booking request, submitting information or using the app, you agree to this User Agreement.

The NOVELO app is provided by NOVELO PTY LTD. NOVELO operates e-bike rental, sales, repair and related customer services in Melbourne, Australia.

The app may allow users to browse e-bike rental options, submit booking requests, manage customer account information, upload supporting documents, view rental or order information, access rewards features, request renewals and contact NOVELO.

Some features may require registration, sign-in, identity review, store approval or further confirmation by NOVELO.

You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating or using your account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity under your account.

NOVELO may refuse, suspend or restrict access to an account if information is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, fraudulent or used in breach of this User Agreement.

A booking or rental application submitted through the app is a request only. It does not guarantee vehicle availability, rental approval, fixed pricing, or a completed rental agreement.

A rental is only confirmed after NOVELO has reviewed the request, confirmed availability, completed any required identity or eligibility checks, and the customer has completed the required agreement and payment process.

NOVELO may decline, cancel or request more information for any booking or rental application.

You may be asked to upload supporting documents such as identity documents, visa information, student ID, proof of address, receipts, repair photos or other files.

You agree that the information and documents you provide must be true, accurate and lawfully provided. NOVELO may use this information to review applications, manage rentals, prevent fraud, protect NOVELO property, process payments, handle disputes and comply with legal or business record requirements.

The app may provide payment-related features or links for real-world goods and services, including e-bike rentals, renewals, repairs, sales, accessories, deposits, bonds, coupons or rewards.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe or other approved payment methods. NOVELO does not store full card numbers in the app.

Any refunds, bond returns or payment adjustments are subject to NOVELO's applicable rental, sales, repair, refund or payment terms.

NOVELO may offer rewards, coupons, referral benefits or store credit from time to time. These benefits are subject to the rules shown in the app, on the website, in store, or as otherwise confirmed by NOVELO.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, rewards, coupons and store credits are not cash, are not financial products, are not transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

NOVELO may refuse or cancel rewards, coupons or referral benefits if misuse, fraud, duplication, error or policy breach is detected.

The app may assist with rental, sales, repair, renewal or customer service processes. However, separate agreements or terms may apply to specific transactions, including rental agreements, sales terms, repair terms, refund records, credit notes and invoices.

If there is any inconsistency between this User Agreement and a signed rental agreement or other transaction-specific agreement, the transaction-specific agreement will apply to that transaction.

The app may open third-party services such as Google Maps, payment providers or external websites. These services are operated by third parties and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

NOVELO is not responsible for third-party services, maps, directions, payment platforms or external websites.

You must not misuse the app, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with app security, submit false information, upload unlawful content, abuse rewards or coupons, or use the app for fraudulent, illegal or harmful purposes.

NOVELO may restrict or suspend access if we reasonably believe the app is being misused.

NOVELO may update, change, suspend or remove app features from time to time. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted.

To the extent permitted by law, NOVELO is not liable for loss caused by app downtime, technical issues, third-party services, inaccurate user-submitted information, external map directions, payment provider issues, or unauthorised use of your account.

Nothing in this User Agreement excludes any rights you may have under applicable Australian consumer law that cannot be excluded.

We may update this User Agreement from time to time. The updated version will be made available in the app or on our website. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated User Agreement.
